Medications like semaglutide and tirzepatide have changed the conversation around weight loss. But a prescription on its own isn't a plan. At Essenza, our medical weight loss program is built around something less glamorous and far more important: consistent clinical follow-up.
It begins with an evaluation
Every program starts with a consultation to review your health history, current medications, goals and what you've tried before. These medications aren't appropriate for everyone — certain personal or family medical histories, pregnancy and other factors may rule them out. When a medication isn't the right fit, we'll tell you.
The weight loss consultation is $50, credited toward treatment within 30 days. Depending on your history, we may also recommend a lab panel to better understand your starting point.
Weekly check-ins, included
Our program includes weekly check-in visits at no extra cost. That's where we review how you're feeling, track progress, talk through side effects and adjust the plan. Most side effects, such as nausea, are more common early on or after dose changes, and regular contact means they're addressed quickly rather than endured.
Progress is much more than a number on the scale.
Why we measure body composition
The scale tells you how much you weigh, not what changed. That's why InBody body composition analysis is included in the program. It helps us see changes in muscle and fat over time, so the plan can support what matters long term — including protein intake and strength training to help preserve muscle. (For clients outside the program, an InBody scan is available for $70.)
Realistic expectations
Everyone responds differently, and results depend on many factors, including your health, your dose and your habits. Our role is to keep the process safe, sustainable and personal — and to support the habits that will matter after the program ends.
